Karen Ann Fishburn was a loving and devoted mother, granny, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.  She left us suddenly on Sunday, October 25, 2020.

She was born on February 12, 1964 in Stilwell, OK.  Growing up in Oklahoma, Karen traveled with her sisters and her parents singing gospel music.

Karen married Timothy Fishburn, in Idabel, OK where they raised 2 boys.  Karen had a servants heart, and spent 25 years as nurse.

Her nursing career led her to Tulsa, OK where she built her home with her sons.  Karen loved spending time in her garden and doing home projects.

Karen’s whole world was her family.  She is survived by her sons, Bryan Fishburn and Timothy Fishburn; her grandson, Oliver Fishburn; her parents, George and Dorothy Stufflebeam; her sisters, Sharon Collins and Denise Dean; and her dog, Buddy Love.

Karen was tough, but she was kind.  She fought hard and loved harder.  She lived life her own way and loved every minute of it.  Karen inspired all who knew her with her strong spirit.

Karen was known as the person of strength in her family and we are devastated by this loss.
