LaVonna Blue (Christie) Farrell
November 9, 1940 - May 1, 2007
LaVonna Blue (Christie) Farrell, the daughter of Jess Christie and Florence (York) Christie, was born November 9, 1940 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
She passed away in her home in Muldrow, Oklahoma on May 1, 2007 at the age of 66.
On August 7, 1968, she was married to Frank Farrell in Stilwell, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Florence Christie, one brothr, Robert and on infant sister, Annie.
Her surviving family includes her husband, Frank Farrell, of the home in Muldrow; four daughters, Marcie Harris of Stilwell, Narcie Dowdican and husband, Mark of Alburquerque, NM, Louella Vann, of Tulsa, OK. Lucinda Wolfram and husband Anthony of Flintridge, OK.
Five Brothers, Bill Christie and wife, Linda of Marble City, OK, Jessie Christie and wife, Margaret, of Bunch, OK, Jack Christie and wife, Laurie, of Marble City, OK, George Christie and wife, Tammy, of Stilwell and Rick Christie, of Stilwell; two sisters, Mary Thompson, Vicki Cox and husband, Reggy, all of Stilwell, brothers-in-law, Jim Farrell and wife, Norita, Tom Farrell and wife, Ann, all of Oklahoma City, OK; one uncle, Eugene York and wife, Minerva, of Tahlequah, OK; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and numerous family memebers.

Services were held Friday, May 4, 2007 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Rev. Edward Cunningham officiating.
Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.

Frank Houston Farrell, son of John and Gladys (Freeman) Farrell was born May 16, 1937 in Atwood, Oklahoma and departed this life on July 25, 2013 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 76 years, 2 months and 9 days.
He graduated from Atwood High School. He also received a Bachelor’s Degree from Oklahoma State University. Frank worked in the Natural Resources Dept for BIA as an officer for 26 years then went to work for Cherokee Nation as the Director of Natural Resources for 16 years before he retired in 2005. He enjoyed fishing, casinos, dancing, flea markets, auctions, watching horse races and spending time with his friends at the ADCO Kiwanis Club and most importantly spending time with his family and friends.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife of 40 years LaVonna B. Christie Farrell and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife: Barbara “Bobbie Sue” Farrell of the home in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, 4 daughters; Marcie Harris of Stilwell, OK, Narcie Dowdican and husband Mark of Albuquerque, NM, Cindy Lovett of Kansas, OK, Lucy Vann of Stilwell, OK, 2 stepsons; Trevin Martin of Sand Springs, OK, and Roy and wife Dr. Rebecca Mestas of Anchorage, AK. 2 brothers; Jim Farrell and wife Norita of Oklahoma City, OK, Tom Farrell and wife Ann of New Castle, OK, 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Funeral services were held 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2013, at Hart Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Jon Hamby officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
