Stilwell Democrat Journal - September 4, 1969
Elsie P. Downum, 77, Route 2 Stilwell, died Monday in the Stilwell Municipal Hospital. She was born August 29,1892, in Pettigrew, Arkansas.
Survivors include: one sister, Gladys Farmer, Stilwell; and a niece, Mrs. Joe Sellers, Stilwell.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) in the Roberts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ross O'Neal officiating. Interment will be in the Stilwell City Cemetery.
