Paul Joe Adair, son of Wilson Adair and Virginia Daugherty was born August 9, 1937 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on March 7, 2014 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years, 6 months and 26 days.
He was raised in the Stilwell area by his grandmother Lizzie Daugherty. He married Shirley Ann Paden in 1956 and to this union 5 children were born; Joe, Kenneth, Kathleen, Jeff and Julie.
He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force for 20 years. Paul enjoyed fishing, watching boxing and the UFC fights on TV but most of all enjoyed spending precious time with his family who he deeply loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son; Kenneth Adair, and his grandmother Lizzie Daugherty.
Paul is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife; Shirley Adair of the home in Stilwell, OK, 4 children; Joe Adair and wife Barbie of Stilwell, OK, Kathleen Adair of Bentonville, AR, Jeffrey Adair and partner Raymond Salazar of Stilwell, OK, Julie Latta and husband Wesley of Stilwell, OK, daughter in law: Judy Adair of Cookson, OK, 12 grandchildren; Lindsay Collins and husband Ray, Angela Adair, Jamie Catron and husband Frank, Michael Adair, Denae Catron, Brad Adair, Amy O’Neal and husband Jeff, Brittany Eubanks, Kimber Croley and husband James, Lauren Latta, Weston Latta, Easton Latta. 13 great grandchildren; Ryan, Jordan, Kyla, Makenna, Shia, Kane, Kinley, Kara, Kaitlyn, Konnor, Ty, Maycie and Sophie, a special cousin William Terrapin and wife Juanita and their children, several other relatives and many, many friends also survive him.
Graveside services at 2 pm on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Stilwell City Cemetery with Rev. Thomas Still offficiating.
