Wilburn Dee Deason
March 5, 1932 - March 26, 2005
Wilburn Dee Deason was born February 5, 1932 to Homer and Flora Deason. He went to be with the Lord March 26, 2005 at the age of 73.
He married Velma J. Faddis on February 5, 1955 at Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Dee lived on a farm near Stilwell until he enlisted in the Army. His term began April 17, 1948; and he was honorably discharged September 1951.
He was an aircraft mechanic until he retired in 1996 from American Airlines.
He was ordained into the ministry in 1981 and from that day forward, he labored in prayer for his fellow men that they might know the glory of God.
Preceding him in death are his parents and five brothers, Dick, Frank, Tootsie, Maris and Bruce Deason.
He is survived by his wife, Velma of the home in Broken Arrow, OK; two sons, David Dee Deason of Broken Arrow, OK and John Deason of Tulsa, OK; two daughters, Terri Morgan of Sand Springs, OK and Tammi Mullins of Hecktorville, OK; six grandchildren, Mattie, Mollie, Josey, Josh, Matthew, Noah and one great-grandson, Luke.
Services were held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at Spade Mountain Mission Church with Michael Hyman officiating.
Interment followed at Spade Mountain Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
