Sylvia Leona Johnson, daughter of Abraham Fuller and Josie (Robbins) Fuller was born Oct. 1, 1904, in Arkansas and departed this life on Oct. 1, 1999, at the home of her daughter in Phoenix, Ariz., at the age of 95 years.

As a young girl, Sylvia moved to Oklahoma. She worked most of her life as a seamstress and a homemaker. She enjoyed very much the duties that followed her role as wife, mother and grandmother. She has resided in the Phoenix, Ariz., area since 1940.

She is preceded in death by both parents, Abraham and Josie Fuller Bottoms; her husband, Noah Johnson; three sons, Chester, Ervin and Roy; three daughters, Martha Duncan, Bessie Johnson and Bertha Rich.

She is survived by one daughter, Imogene Johnston and husband Bill of Phoenix, Ariz.; one nephew, Carl W. Bottoms of Stilwell; 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Services were held Friday Oct. 8, at the Spade Mountain Cemetery with Rev. Harry Carnes of Phoenix, Ariz., officiating under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home of Stilwell.
