Ethel Hooper, the daughter of Hubert and Ollie (Petree) Eubanks, was born December 28, 1918 in Madison County, Arkansas and dedparted this life to be with her Lord and Savior on September 9, 2006 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 87 years, 8 months and 11 days.

Ethel married Clifton James Hooper on September 5, 1936. They were married 18 years and to that union 8 children were born: Loraine, Charles, Baby Boy "Hooper", Geraldine, C. J., A. J., Faye and Danny.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Ollie Eubanks, 2 sons: Baby Boy "Hooper", and C. J. Hooper. 1 grandson: Dewayne Trammell, 1 sister: Gladys Swafford, 6 brothers: Floyd, Lloyd, Leonard, Boyd, Troy and Roy Eubanks.

She is survived by a very loving family that includes 3 daughters: Loraine Patterson, Gerldine Leutsch, and Faye Miller, 3 sons: Charles Hooper, A.J. Hooper and Danny Hooper. 1 sister: Goldie McClain, 1 brother: Claude Eubanks. 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 7 great-great granchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at the Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jackie Patterson and Bro. Danny Buzzard officiating.

Interment followed in the Spade Mountain Cemetery under the direction of the Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
