Faye, who would rather be called Nana, was born on February 4, 1957 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 13, 2020.

Nana enjoyed attending Bidding Creek Baptist Church in Wauhillau. Nana also enjoyed being in her “she shed” with her grandkids playing games, watching TV, or making Tik Toks! She enjoyed a wide variety of activities, a few were sewing, scrapbooking, and collecting antiques. Nana especially loved when her kids and grandchildren would gather for supper. She worked at Wilma P Mankiller Health Clinic for 20 of the 25 years that she was employed by Cherokee Nation.

She is survived by her loving husband, Mike Deason, of the home, one son Raven Feather, three daughters, Alicia and husband Jason Catron, Carla and husband Jayare Fields, Mary Deason and Darrell Heinrichs, all of Stilwell. Twelve grandchildren: Myklynn, Lanie, Aubrey, Brayden, Jayd, Landon, Grace, Ava, Dyamond, Paysleigh, Ki, and JBear. She is also survived by many loved ones and friends. She will be deeply missed but not forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her parents Raven and Martha Feather, one brother, and one sister.

Graveside services were held Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Spade Mountain Cemetery, Stilwell, Oklahoma with Bro. Chuck Glass and Bro. Jayare Fields officiating.

Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell.
