Bill Brannon
May 31, 1916 - May 11, 1996
Bill Brannon, son of Clyde and Ona (Walker) Brannon, was born on May 31, 1916 in Crosses, Ark., and departed this life on May 11, 1996, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, at the age of 79 years, 11 months, and 10 days.
He was a retired truck driver and had lived in the Stilwell area for over 15 years. Bill enjoyed hunting and working with his hunting dogs. He loved to tell a good story and be with people.
Bill is survived by his wife, Gladys, of the home in Stilwell; three sons, Jess Brannon and Gene Brannon both of McKinleyville, Calif., Johnny Brannon of Canby, Ore.; two stepsons, William H. Prindle of McKinleyville, Calif. and Blake Prindle of Stilwell; two stepdaughters, Gloria Stout of Wagoner, OK and Barbara Collins of Livermore, Calif.; one sister, Alma Ruth Knight of Stilwell; one brother, Glen Brannon of Willits, Calif., and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to flowers, memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for Alzheimers Research. These memorials may be made at the Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
