Joe (Josiah) Manus was born on February 5, 1886 in Cherokee County OK., I.T. to John Manus and unknown mother.
He died on October 6, 1972, at age 86 years old, at the General Hospital, Muskogee, OK. He was a resident of Westville, OK.Walter Walker, his son-in-law, gave the information.Services were held at the Illinois River Baptist Church, with Clergyman John Blackwood of Stilwell officiating.He was buried in the Chewey (Sands) Cemetery on October 8, 1972, at 2:30 p.m.
Roberts Funeral home was in charge of arrangements and burial.
