Albert Swake, Jr., the son of Albert Swake, Sr., and Lucy (Glass) Swake, was born April 29, 1945 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life October 26, 2007 at his home in Westville, Oklahoma at the age of 62 years, 5 months and 27 days.

Albert was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church and worked as a chicken catcher for many years until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers; Robert and J.W. Swake and two sisters; Ella Mae Lovejoy and Lucille Swake.

His surviving family includes his mother, Lucy Swake of Stilwell, three sisters; Emma Harrington, Rogene Swake, both of Westville, and Goleta Fatheree of Stilwell, and three brothers; Perry Swake, John T. Swake both of Westville, and James Buck Swake of Stilwell.

Services were held Monday, October 29, 2007 at Hart Memorial Chapel in Westville with Bro. Sam Nakedhead officiating.

Interment followed at Salem Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
