Malachi Redbird Smith, the son of Tim and Amber (Mink) Smith, was born January 22, 2007, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. While surrounded by his loving family, he was taken home to heaven on July 13, 2010, at the tender age of 3 years, 5 months and 21 days.

Malachi enjoyed riding four-wheelers, watching cartoons, eating cake, playing football and playing with his sister and baby brother. He was a special little boy who brought great joy to his family.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Dwayne Smith and great grandparents, Emma Mink, Goodloe Samms, Dan Proctor, Lucille Bark Proctor, Rufus Smith and Leona Bush Smith.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Tim and Amber Smith, of Stilwell; brother, Uriah Smith, of Stilwell; sister, Aubrey Smith, of Stilwell; grandparents, Adalene Smith, of Kenwood, OK, Mary Samms and Dennis Mink, of Stilwell; great grandparents, Frank Mink, Bill and Lou Ann Collins, of Stilwell; great-great grandmother, Ruby Samms, of Stilwell; special grandmother, Ollie Sawney, of Stilwell; special aunt, Amanda Mink and special cousin, Cainan Mink, of Stilwell, and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2010, at First Baptist Church with Bro. Joey Ketcher and Bro. Todd Dowty officiating.

Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
