Funeral services for Wendell Royce Doyeto, 41, of Tahlequah, will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003, at the Salem Baptist Church, with Rev. Steve Eagle and Rev. Lawrence Eagle officiating.

Burial will follow at the Salem Cemetery under the direction of Reed-Culver Funeral Home of Tahlequah. Pallbearers will be Garland Eagle, Brent Cozad, Mike Eagle, Michael Cozad, Ernie Tiger Jr. and Nathan Bowman.

Doyeto was born on Jan. 31, 1962, at Lawton, the son of George and Judy Raye (Cozad) McCarty, and he passed from this life on Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, in Tahlequah.

He grew up in Anadarko and Ponca City. He graduated high school at Sequoyah (Class of 1980). Doyeto was a member of the First Indian Baptist Church and enjoyed beadwork and loved animals.

Doyeto is survived by his adopted father, Cliff Doyeto of Tulsa; adopted mother Chris Durbin Feeling of Norman; son, Joshua A. Doyeto of Tahlequah; daughter, Sara Buck of Tahlequah; four sisters, Angela Yarbarro of Anadarko, Michalle Yarbarro of Oklahoma City, Stacey Noel Brown and Shelbi Ann Doyeto; brother, Leonard Yarbarro of Oklahoma City; as well as many friends and loved ones.
