Perry Cochran was born in Stilwell, Oklahoma on September 9, 1930 to William and Jennie (Taylor) Cochran and went to be with the Lord on March 14, 2008 in Stilwell at the age of 77 years, 6 months and 5 days.

He loved traveling, reading his Bible, visiting with friends and family. Perry was a member of the Cherry Tree Baptist Church. He also retired from the United States Air Force.

Perry was preceded in death by his parents, eight brothers and sisters, and his wife, Margie Cochran.

He is survived by his children; Phyllis Cochran, Janice Thompson and husband Bo all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Perry Cochran Jr., and Shirley of Stilwell, Oklahoma and William Cochran and wife Stayce of Matador, Texas, grandchildren; Jason Cochran, Jennifer Thompson, Scott Cochran, Stephanie Thompson, Layce Cochran, Phillip Cochran, Colby Cochran and Noah Cochran, nieces, and many numerous family and friends.

Services were held Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at Hart Funeral Home with Bro. John Goodrich officiating.

Burial followed at Salem Cemetery. Final arrangements were entrusted to Hart Funeral Home.
