George Patton Sell, son of Alvin and Ivy Sell, was born on February 5, 1945 in Somerville, Texas and departed this life on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at his home in Twentynine Palms, California at 73 years of age.

George enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and field work of all sorts. He loved spending time outdoors. George and Nettie moved to Twentynine Palms in 1988, where they lived their remaining 30 years together. He will be dearly missed by his loving family.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Alvin and Ivy Sell, brother: Alton Sell, sisters: Laura, Charlotte

and Mandy.

Those remaining behind to keep his memory alive include his wife: Nettie Sell of the home in Twentynine Palms, son: Timmy Sell and wife Lizzie of Stilwell, daughters: Tammy Posten of Twentynine Palms, Robin Wohl and husband Dale of Nebraska, brother: Thomas Wayne Sell of Texas, eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Rock Fence Family Cemetery, Stilwell, with Bro. Larry Eubanks officiating.

Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell.
