Sara Lynn Pritchett was born December 5, 1985, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to Rev. Willie B. Pritchett and Shirley (Soap) Pritchett. She departed this life September 11, 2013, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 27.
Sara was a lifelong resident of Stilwell. She attended Bell School, Stilwell High School and Indian Capital Vo-Tech, where she received her certificate in Business Administration. She later received her GED. Sara loved to play and watch softball games. She attended Calvary Southern Baptist Church.
Sara grew up in a close knit extended family and considered everyone her brothers and sisters. She was a loving sister to Loretta and her nieces and nephew were everything to her.
Those preceding her in death include, her parents, her brother, Robert Pritchett, her baby boy, Jalen Storm Pritchett and grandparents, Cornelius and Sarah Soap, and Columbus and Nancy Pritchett, and her special nephew, Braeden Pritchett-Proctor.
She leaves behind a loving family which includes, her sisters, Loretta Doublehead and husband, Mark, and Erica Hallmark and husband, Rob, of Stilwell; brother, Harry Sawney and wife, Marilyn, of Stilwell; stepbrother, Justin Bird, of Chewey; nephews, Lakota Doublehead, Harry Sawney, Jr. and Lance Pritchett; nieces, Marissa Doublehead, Mika Catron, Lanie Pritchett, Kaylie Pritchett, and Shannon Sawney, and her aunt, “Onnie Barkley”, who was a mother to all; her uncle and aunt, Rufus and Vina Pritchett, who were like her second parents.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 16, 2013, at Calvary Southern Baptist Church with Bro. Joey Ketcher and Bro. Larry Pritchett officiating. Interment will follow at Rock Fence Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
