TAHLEQUAH — Funeral services for Tracy Otto Vaughn, 44, of Wichita, Kan., formerly of Stilwell, were Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2012, in the Green Country Funeral Home Chapel.
Officiating was Rev. Audie Vaughan. Serving as pallbearers were Mitchell Vaughn, Joseph Perez, Charles Clinton, Heath Vaughn, Nathan Clinton and Bradley Davis. Honorary pallbearers were John Davis and Bobby Stopp. Interment followed in the Proctor Community Cemetery under the care of Green Country Funeral Home. Tracy Otto Vaughn was born Nov. 22, 1967, in Stilwell, to Otto and Trudy Opal (Kelly) Vaughn. He departed this life unexpectedly on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011 in Wichita.
Tracy loved everyone, especially his children and grandchildren.
Tracy worked for Moody Heating and Air and had earned his journeyman’s license in Wichita, where he had made his home for the past ten years.
Tracy has been preceded in death by his loving mother Trudy (Kelly) McGraw; paternal grandparents, Wallace and Mary (Leach) Vaughn; grandfather, Charles Kelly of DeQueen, Ark.; sisters, Kendra Vaughn and Brenda (Vaughn) Blakley; two nephews Rusty Lee Ketcher and Ryan Gardipee.
He is survived by a very loving family, which includes his father, Otto Vaughn; step–mother, Anne Vaughn of Stilwell; children, Heath Vaughn, Amelia McGowin and Charity Vaughn of Wichita, Skyler McGowin of the U.S. Marines, and Patience Vaughn of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Rico, Cherish and Isaiah of Wichita, and Amiyah of Oklahoma City; grandmother, Pauline and husband Claude Hougland of Tahlequah; brothers, Charles Clinton and wife Alice of Wagoner, Joe Perez and wife Sheryl of Wichita, and Mitchell Vaughn and wife Patti of Wichita; sisters, Maudie Hamme and husband Dan of Tahlequah, and Sue Berry and husband John of Stilwell; a very special aunt, Wanda Brannon and husband L.D. of Stilwell; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
