February 23, 1941 - March 29, 2007
Janice P. Vaughan, daughter of Burt and Annie Oleta (Butler) Hensley was born on February 23, 1941 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with her Lord on March 29, 2007 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years, 1 month and 6 days.
She married Audie Vaughan on May 28, 1960 and three children were born to this union, Joletta, Brenden and Navil.
She was preceded in death by her father; Burt Seymore Hensley.
She is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband; Audie of the home, her mother, Oleta Hensley of Stilwell, 3 children; Joletta Vaughan and Tracy McGowen of Tahlequah, OK., Brenden Vaughan and wife Tori of Stilwell, OK., Navil Vaughan and fiance' Amy Douthett of Stilwell, OK., mother-in-law; Rosa Lee Vaughan of Stilwell, OK, 4 grandchildren; Jeremiah Gatewood and fiance' Andrea Barber of Westville, OK., Turon Vaughan and wife Vickie of Stilwell, OK., Mindy Long and husband Johnny of Westville, OK., Kylee Vaughan of Stilwell, OK., 6 great grandchildren, 2 sisters; Cathy Hill and Ed Burgess of St. Albans, W. VA., Tonya Daughtery and husband James of Stilwell, OK., many nieces nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 31, 2007 at the Westville Pentecostal Holiness Church with Bro. Navil Vaughan, Bro. James Daughtery, and Bro. Gary Graves officiating.
Interment followed in the Proctor Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
