Graveside services for Jerry Wayne Sellers, age 67, will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Proctor Community Cemetery in Proctor, Oklahoma, with Reverend John Waltrip of Gospel Tabernacle Ministries presiding. Pallbearers will include Perry Sellers, J.R. Sellers, Dick Sellers, Bill Pilcher, Andrew Pilcher and Jr. Heustis. Services have been entrusted to the care of the Hart Funeral Home of Tahlequah.

Jerry Wayne Sellers was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on June 21, 1943, the son of Percy Mainlan Sellers and Mary Louise (Groundhog) Sellers. He grew up in the Welling area and graduated from Tahlequah High School. On June 26, 1965 he married Faye Pilcher in Welling, Oklahoma. Jerry earned his living as a plumber. He raised quarter horses and enjoyed horseback riding. Jerry liked to fish, and he enjoyed baseball and gospel singing.

Jerry Wayne Sellers passed away in Tahlequah on Sunday, September 19, 2010, at the age of 67. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by his brother, Andy Sellers, in 2005.

Jerry’s survivors include his wife, Faye Sellers, of the home; his siblings, brother Percy Sellers and wife Doris of Tahlequah, OK, brother John Sellers and wife Pam of Eldon, OK, sister Betty Sellers of Welling, OK, brother Dicky Sellers and wife Glenda of Tahlequah, OK, and sister Mary Jo Hare and husband Jerry of Eldon, OK; as well as many other family members, friends and loved ones.
