Funeral services for Katie Christine SCOTT were held March 27, 1999 at the Proctor Community Church with Rev. Audie VAUGHN officiating. Interment followed in the Proctor Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Westville.
Katie Christine SCOTT was born July 12, 1912 in Proctor to Richard and Annie CUMMINGS REESE. She departed this life March 24, 1999 at the age of 86 years, 8 months and 12 days.
She was married to Robert SCOTT, Sr., on November 3, 1937. Katie was a homemaker and was of the Holiness faith.
She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; and three brothers, Johnson (Buck), Murry and Charlie REESE; and three sisters, Betsy MARTIN, Emma KINDLE and Sally REESE.
Katie is survived by four sons, Robert Jr., J.D., L.J. and William; and one daughter, Sylvia, all of Okla.; 11 grandchildren, Michael, Mark, Robbie, Bub, Leon, Randall, Bobbi, Bethany, Jerri, Pamela and Natalie; 13 great grandchildren, Kolby, Shelby, Alicia, Ashton, Meagan, Shayla, Britteney, Courtney, Payton, Logan, Colton, Dalton and Rick.
