Elterine (Walters) Rector was born May 17, 1941 to John and Leathey (Vaughan) Walters, she passed from this life on March 17, 2011 at her home in Christie, OK at the age of 69 years and 10 months. Elterine was known as “Renie” by most.
She married Donald Rector Sept. 1958 and to this union was born six children; Marsha, Sherry, Trina, Bryan, Brett and James. Renie was known for being a wonderful mama, nanny, homemaker and an excellent cook.

While her children were young, she was active in church as a Sunday school teacher, she worked as a convenient store clerk and a daycare assistant. She also worked several years at Phil’s Country Fare where she made many friends and enjoyed talking with everyone. Renie never met a stranger!

Some of her hobbies were sewing, spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was proud of them and their accomplishments. The past three years she truly enjoyed her little dog “Bella”.She also loved hosting family reunions. She will be in our hearts forever and dearly missed by all.
Renie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Leathey Walters, her children’s father, Donald Rector, four brothers, JC, Burl, Bart and Wayne. One sister Delphia Kolb and a special niece, Sharon Lawrence.
She is survived by six children: Marsha Davidson and husband Kevin of Westville, OK,Sherry Kimble and companion Jim Ferrell of Tahlequah, OK, Trina Burdge and companion Jimmy Christian of Westville, OK, Bryan Rector and wife Dawn of Westville, OK, Brett Rector and wife Tammy of Stilwell, OK, James Rector and wife Sheila of Stilwell, OK, One sister, Shirley Colunga of Fayetteville, AR, Two brothers: Jerry Walters and wife Sissy of Proctor, OK, Rick Walters and wife Peggy of Fruitland, Idaho, 16 grandchildren: Steven Kimble of Ft Smith, AR, Scotty Kimble of Tahlequah, OK,Justin Bell and wife Traci, Stacy Contreras and husband Rodrigo, Nick Adair and Emilee Burdge , Cole, Erika, and Lauren Rector all of Westville, OK, Jona Matthews and husband Kaden of Tulsa, OK, Wesley, Whitney, and Tristian Rector, Felicia Manning, Dawson and Colin Rector all of Stilwell, OK, Six great grandchildren: Hailey Kimble of Ponca City, OK, Maria, Dylan and Mario Contreras, Nicole Adair all of Westville, OK, Arden Matthews of Tulsa, OK, Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 21, 2011 at Roberts Chapel, Westville, Oklahoma with Bro. Audie Vaughan officiating. Interment followed at Proctor Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
