Tommie Bert Mullin, son of Gerald Grant and Millie Irene (Sisk) Mullin, was born on September 3, 1929 in Clearfork, Oklahoma and departed this life surrounded by his wife and children at his home in Proctor, Oklahoma on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 90 years of age.

He married the love of his life, Noretta James on December 26, 1946 and they were blessed with almost 73 years together. Bert enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved fishing when he had the time and his health permitted. He was a member of Clearfork Church.

Bert, as he was known to all, was a hard worker and good provider for his family. He held many jobs over the years, they included, supervisor at Baldor, Adair County Undersheriff, police officer and as a mechanic for the school at the bus shop.

He made many lasting friendships over the years and will be remembered.

Bert was preceded in death by his parents: Gerald and Millie Mullin, his daughter: Pamela Kay Mullin, 5 sisters, 1 brother and an infant grandson.
 

He leaves a loving family to mourn his passing. They include his wife: Noretta Mullin of the home near Proctor, children: Tommie R. Mullin of Proctor, Staci Heustis and husband Terry of Westville, 8 grandchildren: Jason, Shawn, Shannon, Keleka, Amanda, Lenzi, Tyler and Felicia, 5 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great- grandchild, 4 brothers: Kermit Mullin, Ted Mullin, Dan Mullin and Howard Mullin, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
 

Funeral services were held Monday, September 16, 2019 at Roberts & Hart Chapel, Westville, with Terry Heustis and Bro. Danny Crittenden officiating.

Interment followed at Proctor- Sanders Cemetery, Proctor, under the direction of Roberts & Hart Funeral Home, Westville.
