Alma Jean Leak was born May 18, 1921, in Hinton, Oklahoma to Andrew and Laura Alma (Long) Hall and departed this life August 12, 2010, in West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years, 2 months and 24 days.
Alma Jean was married to Everette Leak in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on January 4, 1940. Alma Jean was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and raising vegetables and beautiful flowers. She was happiest when relaxing and spending time with her husband and family.
Her parents, infant daughter, Marilyn Joyce Leak, and several brothers and sisters preceded Alma Jean in death. She leaves behind a loving family including, her husband of 70 years, Everette Leak, of Proctor; son and daughter-in-law, Don and Arlene Leak, of Proctor; grandchildren, Joe and Carel Leak, of Proctor, Angie and Andy Pruitt, of Baron, Amy and Eddie Roberts, of Westville; great grandchildren, Kaiti, Emme and Philip Leak, Ashley, John & Don Pruitt, Amber and Jake Roberts; brother and sister-in-law, Estel and Darlene Hall, of Keys and a host of friends and loved ones.
Services were held 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 16, 2010, at Hart Memorial Chapel in Westville with Bro. Jim Green and Bro. Audie Vaughan officiating. Interment followed at the Proctor-Sanders Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
