Virgil Lee Kindle, the son of Claude Kindle and Emma (Reese) Kindle, was born July 24, 1923, in Proctor, Oklahoma. He departed this life December 30, 2010, at his home in Proctor, Oklahoma at the age of 87 years, 5 months and 6 days.
On April 23, 1942, Virgil married Myrtle Louise Taylor in Westville, Oklahoma. Their marriage was blessed with seven children.

Virgil was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during World War II. He was a farmer and enjoyed working outdoors. His hobbies included singing and playing guitar.

Virgil was a member of the Proctor-Sanders Cemetery Board for several years. He was a member of the Proctor Community Church where he served as a deacon.
Those preceding him in death include his parents, his wife, Myrtle Kindle, one son, Virgil Ray Kindle, three brothers, Richard, Cecil and Johnny Kindle, one sister, Alterine Gordon and four grandchildren.
He leaves behind five daughters, Connie Mouse, of Tahlequah, OK, Sharon Burke and husband, Terry, of Watts, OK, Betty Benoit and husband, Gary, of Proctor, OK, Claudina Benton and husband, Dana, of Christie, OK, Janet Campbell and husband, Cecil, of Stilwell, OK; one son, Keith Kindle, of Watts, OK; 17 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, 17 great-great grandchildren; one sister, Louise Holderby, of Colcord, OK; two brothers, Haskell Kindle and Curtis Kindle, of Proctor, OK and a host of friends and loved ones.
Funeral services were held 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2011, at Proctor Community Church with Bro. Audie Vaughan officiating. Interment followed at Proctor-Sanders Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Westville.

Myrtle Louise Kindle
August 11, 1925-November 6, 2007
Myrtle Louise Kindle, the daughter of Hosea Robert Taylor and Minnie Francis (Trippy) Taylor was born August 11, 1925, in Kansas, Oklahoma.
On November 6, 2007, she passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years, 2 months and 25 days.
Myrtle married Virgil L. Kindle in Westville, Oklahoma on April 23, 1942. She spent her life as a homemaker, lovingly caring for the needs of her family. Myrtle wrote the Proctor News for the Westville Reporter for several years and was a member of Proctor Community Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers, two sisters, one son; Virgil Ray Kindle, and five granchildren.
She leaves behind, her husband, Virgil Kindle of the home in Proctor, OK., five daughters; Connie Mouse of Tahlequah, OK., Sharon Burke and husband Terry of Watts, OK., Betty Benoit and husband Gary of Proctor, OK., Claudina Benton and husband Dana of Christie, OK., Janet Campbell and husband Cecil of Stilwell OK., one son; Keith Kindle of Tahlequah, OK., 70 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, three sisters; Jewel Berg of Tahlequah, OK., Betty Thompson and husband Luther of Lincoln, AR., and Mary Self of Centralia, WA, two brothers; Clyde Taylor of Yuma, AZ., H.R. Taylor and wife Exie of Sheridan, AR., and a host of friends and loved ones.
Funeral services were held Friday, November 9, 2007 at Proctor Community Church with Bro. Danny Willard and Bro. Audie Vaughan officiating.
Interment followed at Proctor Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
