Proctor, OK – Graveside services for Minnie Mildred Hubbard, age 90, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 18th, 2007 at Proctor Cemetery in Proctor, OK, with interment following services. There will be an open visitation at Hart Funeral Home in Tahlequah from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 17th, 2007. Services have been entrusted to Hart Funeral Home.
Minnie Mildred Hubbard was born on December 20th, 1916 in Proctor, OK, to Floy McCollum Kindle and Elsworth Kindle. She married Jessie Simon Hubbard on December 16th, 1933 in Stilwell, OK. To this union four children were born. Mill and Simon enjoyed over twenty years in the antique business around the Proctor area, and also sold antiques in Canton, TX at the First Monday Flea Market. She was a loving and exceedingly generous mother, and she dearly loved her ten grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
Mildred passed away peacefully on Monday, October 15, 2007, with her family at her side.
Preceding Mildred in death were her husband of fifty-five years, Simon Hubbard; one son, Jesse Dean Hubbard; three brothers, Noel Kindle, George Kindle and Herbert Kindle; and three sisters, Elva Yeager, Edna Smith, and Autherine Richards.
Mildred is survived by her son, Donald Ray Hubbard and his wife Beverly of Proctor, OK; two daughters, Glendon Kay Watkins and husband Mike of Tahlequah, OK, and Joan Elaine Porter and her husband George of Tulsa, OK; two sisters, Wanda Collins of Proctor, OK, and Gean Edwards of Prairie Grove, AR; her sisters-in-law, Gulela Kindle of Proctor, OK, Elizabeth Kelley of Blackwell, OK Gean Hubbard of Westville, OK and Francis Dingbenthal of Garland, TX; her niece and special friend, Kathy Richards; as well as by a host of other family members, friends and loved ones.
