Pearl Louise Howard was born October 25, 1916, in Cincinnati, Arkansas, to Granville and Maude (Chaney) Murrie. She departed this life September 11, 2011, in Denton, Texas at the age of 94 years, 10 months and 16 days.
On October 10, 1935, she married Marion Howard in Westville, Oklahoma. Pearl was a homemaker who enjoyed her role as wife, mother and grandmother. Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, sewing and reading. She was a member of the Jehovah witnesses.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Marion Howard, on November 18, 2000, and daughter, Winnie Williamson.
Her surviving family includes three sons, Robert J. Howard, of Ft. Worth, TX, Bill Howard, of Newalla, OK and Ronnie Howard, of Ft. Worth, TX; one daughter, Shirley Lee, of Denton, TX, 19 grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 15, 2011, at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Kenny Phipps officiating. Interment will follow at Proctor-Sanders Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Westville.
