Funeral services for Mae Lois Hamilton, age 87, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 22, 2008 in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Larry Kindle and Brother Robert Hamilton will officiate.

Interment will follow services at Proctor Cemetery in Proctor, OK. Services have been entrusted to Hart Funeral Home of Westville. Pallbearers will include Dan Kindle, Robert Paul Hamilton, Lacy Lockwood, Heath Hamilton, Keefton Hamilton, Juan Hamilton, Sam Pharr & Luke Pharr. Honorary pallbearers are Bert Mullin, Howard Mullin, Dan Mullin, J.D. Leatherwood, Mick Dundom, Richard Self and Marty Horn. Serving as Mae’s flower girls are Anita Henderson, Kay DeBenedictis, Marlo Hamilton, Leah Moore, Deana Bush, Heather Moyer, Renee Pharr, Darla Pharr, Tonya Lockwood, Amanda Hamilton, Amy Hamilton, Tonya Hamilton, and Anne Kindle.

Mae Lois Hamilton was born August 1, 1920 in Chance, OK, the daughter of Stella Mae Morris and Emmett Marshall. Mae married Cecil Lee Hamilton (known to all as Bill) and to this union six children were born. Mae and Bill made their home in the Clearfork Community where they reared their children. All knew Mae for her unmatched love for her family, wonderful meals for her large family, and at her home an ever-present welcome to friends and family.
Mae departed this life on May 19, 2008, at her home in the Clearfork Community near Westville, OK, while surrounded by her children and other family members. She was 87 years, 9 months, and 18 days old.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Cecil, her son Willard, twin brother Ray Marshall, brother Otis Graves, sister Ruby Hamilton, grandson Lance Lockwood and grandson Cecil Blake Hamilton.

She is survived by two sons, Robert Lee Hamilton and wife Geneva of Gravette, AR, and Odean Hamilton and wife Leona of Westville, OK; three daughters, Etta Kindle of Tulsa, OK, Carolyn Lockwood and husband Larry of Proctor, OK, and Trella Pharr and husband Rick of Westville, OK; one stepdaughter, Wilma Dean Bargas and husband Dave of Mannford, OK; one daughter-in-law Gail Hamilton Daring of Cincinnati, AR; three sisters-in-law, Lou Marshall of Sapulpa, OK, Carrie Morris of Claremore, OK, and Maxine Hamilton of Proctor, OK. She is also survived by eight grandsons: Danny Kindle and wife Anne, Robert Paul Hamilton and wife Amanda, Lacy Lockwood and wife Tonya, Heath Hamilton, Keefton Hamilton and wife Amy, Juan Hamilton and wife Tonya, Sam Pharr and wife Darla, and Luke Pharr and wife Renee; six granddaughters: Anita Henderson and husband Jay, Kay DeBenedictis, Marlo Hamilton, Leah Moore and husband Mike, Deana Bush and husband David, and Heather Moyer and husband Mike; as well as twenty-six great-grandchildren and many family members, friends and loved ones.
