Donvil Loy Guthrie, age 88 of Westville, Oklahoma passed away on September 23, 2020.

He was born on May 18, 1932 in Clearfork, Oklahoma, the son of William Loy Guthrie and Bess Mullin Guthrie.

He was married to Gloria Jo Yeager on March 20, 1951.

He was preceded in death by his parents of Westville; 2 brothers - Harold Guthrie of Westville and Freddy Ray Guthrie of Westville; 2 sisters lone Carson of Owasso, Oklahoma, Jennie Mae Morris of Westville, Oklahoma and granddaughter Cynthia Lynn Reed of Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

Donvil was a faithful member of Bethany Holiness Church of Westville.

He loved to farm and was a lifetime resident of Westville. Church and family were the most important things in his life.
 

He is survived by his wife Gloria Jo Guthrie; 3 sons - William Dale Guthrie and wife Sharon of Colcord, OK, Terry Dean Guthrie and wife Gavla of Sallisaw, OK, David Wayne Guthrie and wife Jayne of Westville, OK.  2 daughters - Deanna Jo and husband Darrel Womble of Cunningham, KY, Judy Kay and husband Robby Reed of Sapulpa, OK.  13 Grandchildren - Kimberly Williams, Desirae Pugh, Melissa Cartwright, Devin Guthrie, Monica Banks, Melinda Gaither, Joanna Davis, Katrina Vik, Darin Guthrie, Nathan Guthrie, Marilana Tatham, Jennifer Means and Dathan Guthrie, 43 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, 2 Sisters - Joyce Noble of Owasso, OK, Loy Lea and husband Mick Dundom of Collinsville, OK; a host of friends, relatives, and church family.
 

Funeral services under the direction of Roberts & Hart Funeral Home, Westville, OK, were held at 2 pm on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Bethany Holiness Church, Westville, OK with Bro. Terry Guthrie and Bro. Jeff Wilcher officiating. 

Interment followed at Proctor Cemetery, Proctor, OK.
