Wanda Jean Butler, daughter of Alfred and Naomi (west) Guy was born June 23, 1943 in Kansas, Oklahoma and departed this life on September 30, 2011 in Westville, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years, 3 months and 7 days.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed the duties of being a very loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She also enjoyed woodworking, gardening, hunting mushrooms, being outside and tending to her flower gardens.
She is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband; Vernon Butler of the home in Westville, OK, children; Kenneth Kelley of Beaumont, TX, Pamela Garr and husband Allen of Westville, OK, Rebecca Wilson and husband David of Stilwell, OK, Helen Iiams of Westville, OK, Brenda Butler of Broken Arrow, Ok, Gary Butler and wife Lisa of Westville, OK, 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren. 1 brother; Jim Guy and wife Cleo of Blue Jacket, OK, 2 sisters; Barbara Willis and husband Tommy of Moody, OK, Althna Kelley and husband Chester of Chewey, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 3, 2011, at Hart Memorial Chapel with Rev. Larry Kindle and Rev. Skip Hanvey officiating. Interment will follow at Proctor Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Westville.
