Ezekiel E. ADAIR

Funeral services for Ezekiel E. ADAIR were held at the Piney school house Tuesday, February 24th.
Mr. ADAIR was born in the Indian Territory, February 22, 1877 and passed from this life February 23, 1948.
He was united in marriage with Miss Ida L. ALBERTY, October 16, 1904.
To this union six children were born of whom only two are now living, one son, Haskell ADAIR of Piney and one daughter, Mrs. E.B. MASTER of Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Mr. ADAIR was well known throughout the eastern part of the state, as he was from one of the oldest and most outstanding families in territorial days.
Adair County derived its name after the ADAIR family name.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. E.R. HALL of the Christian church, Stilwell, under the direction of Roberts Funeral home.
