Mary Ann Winchester, daughter of Sam and Arlene (Capps) Poor was born January 20, 1935 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on November 29, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years, 10 months and 9 days.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed the duties that followed her role of being a very loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Doyle Winchester and 1 son; Sammy Allen Winchester.
She is survived by a very loving family that includes her son; Michael Winchester and wife Debbie of Joplin, MO, 6 grandchildren; Candice Lynn Jones of Stilwell, OK, Kenneth Winchester of Muskogee, OK, Abby Gail Winchester of Muskogee, OK, Sean Michael Winchester of Tahlequah, OK, William Koch and wife Natalie of Wyandotte, OK, Jason Kay of Seneca, MO, 16 great grandchildren. 3 brothers; Hershal Poor of Wellsville, KS, Clifford Poor and Kenny Poor both of Stilwell, OK, 2 sisters; Wanda Wymer of Shawnee Mission, KS, and Sharon Poor of Stilwell, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Graveside services were held at 10 am on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Stilwell, Oklahoma with Bro. Ronnie Ford officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
