Joseph Lee McCully departed this life on December 9, 2006 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years and 3 days.

He was born on December 6, 1929 in Stilwell, Oklahoma to Lawson and Lucy (Johnson)McCully.
Joseph (Joe) retired as MSGT from the United States Air Force after serving his country honorably for 20 years. He served in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars where he received many commendations and numerous medals.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother: Jack McCully, 2 sisters: Aylene Campbell and Esther Irene (Polly) Williams.
 
He is survived by his wife, JoAnne Dubard McCully and daughter, Kelsey Lauren McCully of the home in Stilwell, Ok., daughters: Donna Gail McCully Namdar and husband A. S. (Cha-Cha) of San Diego, CA., Karen McCully Evans of Benbrook, TX; 3 sons: Alan Keith McCully and wife Sheila of Waxahachie, TX., Kevin Glen McCully and wife Suzanne of Spring Branch, TX., Scot Lawson McCully of San Antonio, TX., 4 step-sons: Joseph Hoyt West and wife Jorgene of Atlanta, GA., William (Bill) West of Marietta, GA., Jeffrey Ray West and wife Carol of Lavonia, GA., and Bradley Scott West and wife Wendy of Moore, OK., 17 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at the Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Chapel with Pastor Barry Hayes officiating.

Interment followed in the Pilgrim Rest Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
