Lena Mae Cooper was born August 12, 1943 in Independence, Missouri to Chester H. Cooper and Edna Mae (Martin) Cooper. She passed away on December 21, 2018 at her home in Peavine, in Stilwell, Oklahoma.

 

Preceding her in death were her parents, five brothers, J.C. (Joe), J.R., J.T., Charles and Kenneth and one great-grandchild, Hunter Eubanks.

 

She is survived by Irene (Cooper) Vaughn and husband Claudie, R.C. (Roy) Cooper and wife Edith, G.C. Cooper and wife Darlene, all of Stilwell, two sisters, Ellen Cooper of Bartlesville and Reba Morris and husband Russell of Stilwell, three brothers, Jerry Cooper and the late Ruby Cooper of Yukon, John Cooper of Stilwell and Jimmy Cooper of Dewey, and other relatives and friends.

 

Graveside services were at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery.

 

Her brother’s vault company, Central Burial Vaults, Inc. and Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home were in charge of handling her graveside service. Officiating the service was Audie Vaughn
