Wanda Jean Chastain, daughter of Albert & Nora Fredrick, was born on December 12, 1955 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and she departed this life to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Tahlequah City Hospital in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 58 years, 3 months and 11 days.
Wanda was a wonderful Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She loved her family with all of her heart. Wanda was a kind, strong person who loved guiding and helping her family thru life. She will be so very missed by all who loved and knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Michael Chastain; two sisters, Elvie Martin and Myrle Chaffin; one brother, Jessie Fredrick. Her Mother and Father-in-law: Mary (Poor) Chastain, Robert and Lennie B. (Renfroe) Chastain; brothers-in-law: Fred Chastain, Garland Chastain, James Chastain, Bobby Chastain, William Chastain, John Pack; sisters-in-law, Rhoda, Sandy Peck and Inez Pack.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel Wayne Chastain of the home in Stilwell, OK; two sons, Jeremy Chastain and Jessica, his children; Shalena, Cambria and one step-son Keanu and Jeffrey and Kristy (Neugin) Chastain, their children, Janessa, Jaselyn and Jayden; three sisters; Minnie Chaffin, Linda Fuson and husband Marvin, Judy Turnbull and husband Artie; one brother, Bill Fredrick and wife Carol. One special sister-in-law, Wanda Faye Fredrick and one special friend, Glenda Handle and her husband Levi; and a very special provider, Amber Turner. She also leaves behind her in laws: Larry & Fredia Carter, Darrell & Jessica Chastain, Paul & Gloria Davis, J.C. Pack, Barbara Chastain and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services were held at 10 am on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Calvary Southern Baptist Church, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Joey Ketcher officiating. Interment followed at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery, Stilwell, OK.

Samuel Wayne Chastain, son of Robert Washington and Mary Magdaline (Poor) Chastain, was born on December 26, 1948 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Thursday, May 15, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 65 years, 4 months and 19 days.
Sam was a wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend. He loved his family with all his heart. Sam never met a stranger and loved telling stories on his front porch as he watched the traffic go by. He will be so very missed by all who loved and knew him.
He was preceded in death by his mother: Mary (Poor) Chastain, parents: Robert and Lennie (Renfroe) Chastain, son: Michael Chastain, brothers: Fred Chastain, Garland, James, Bobby, William and John Pack, sisters: Sandy Pack, Inez Pack and Rhoda Sanders.
Sam is survived by a loving family that includes his sons: Jeff Chastain and wife Kristy of Stilwell, Jeremy Chastain of Amarillo, TX, daughter in law: Tashina Teehee, brothers: Darrell Chastain and wife Jessica of Springdale, AR, J.C. Pack of Tulsa, OK, Paul Davis and wife Gloria of Muldrow, OK, sister: Fredia Carter and husband Larry of Park Hill, OK, grandchildren: Keanu Teehee, Shalena Chastain, Janessa Chastain, Cambria Chastain, Jaselyn Chastain, Jayden Chastain. He leaves behind many other relatives and a multitude of friends.
Funeral services at 2 pm on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel with Bro. Dexter Vann officiating. Interment will be at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery, Stilwell, OK.
