Dewey Wayne Hammer, son of Dewey Hammer and Margie Ann Sanders Hammer, was born on November 23, 1964 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on February 12, 2012 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 47 years, 2 months, and 19 days.

He loved to work on bicycles and lawn mowers and loved to trade things. He was a member of the Three Crosses Cowboy Church .

He was preceded in death by his dad: Dewey Hammer; two sisters: Lessa O'Hern and Sherrie Hammer; his grandparents: Lennie and Roy Sanders and John Hughes and Nellie Hammer.

Dewey is survived by his mother, Margie Hammer of Westville; brother: Kenny Hammer of Westville; 3 nieces: Kellie, Kendra, and Jacee Hammer all of Westville; nephew: Braxton Hammer of Westville. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 17, 2012 at Three Crosses Cowboy Church, Westville with Bro. John Hammer officiating. Interment followed at Old Green Cemetery.
