James Willard Nofire the son of Gary Wayne Nofire Sr. and Carolyn (Shell) Rich was born April 12, 1974 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on December 4, 2019 in Bunch, Oklahoma at the age of 45 years, 7 months and 22 days.
 

James loved life and was loved by everyone. He had a huge heart, and he would help anyone at anytime. He enjoyed giving everyone a hard time, and he was always making jokes, but you knew he loved you. Making everybody happy was his goal. He enjoyed being outdoors whether he was fishing, hunting arrowheads or other Indian artifacts, or just collecting rocks. His family was the most important thing to him, and he enjoyed getting together and being surrounded by family. James touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
 

He was preceded in death by his father Gary Wayne Nofire Sr, his brother Gary Wayne Nofire Jr, grandmothers Louise Nofire and Georgia Ward, aunts Janice Nofire and Pauline Livers and uncle Maxie Nofire.
 

He is survived by a loving family which includes his wife Tena Flute of the home; his mother Carolyn Rich and husband Arless of Stilwell; his sisters Starla Newman and husband Thomas Jr of Stilwell, Ronetta Billy and husband Wimp of Colcord, Carrie Nofire of Stilwell, and Jennifer Cochran and husband Darren of Colcord; his brother Shawn Rich and wife Rebecca of Washington; grandfather Jerry Nofire of Oak Ridge; a special niece Emery Perez of Stilwell; nephew Houston Arch Flute Sr. of Tulsa; special sister Brandee Lea Sawney of Stilwell; aunts and uncles Eugene and Betty Nofire of Stilwell, Jr. and Frances Nofire of Oak Ridge, Eva and Andrew Cochran Sr. of Stilwell, Norma Cochran and Roger Clinton of Westville, Lavonna and Thurman Scott Sr. of Stilwell, Rose and Jerry Cochran of Stilwell. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
 

Funeral services were held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. John Flute officiating.

Interment followed at Oak Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at: www.hartfuneralhome.net.
