Jerry Dean Parker, son of Jim and Carol (Pettygrew) Parker, was born on December 18, 1984 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Saturday, February 15, 2014 in Muskogee, Oklahoma at the age of 29 years.

At the age of 15, Jerry began his first job working on a ranch as a ranch foreman. When he wasn’t working on the farm, his many talents led him to do construction, mechanics, welding and other odd jobs. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycles.

He graduated from Stilwell High School in 2003. Jerry held a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from NSU Tahlequah. He married Kendra Eubanks on October 10, 2008 and although their time together was brief it was a blessing.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather: Odell Parker.

Jerry is survived by a loving family that includes his wife: Kendra of the home in Stilwell, parents: Jim and Carol Parker of Stilwell, brother: Thomas Parker and wife Cassie of Lenapah, OK, nephews: Odell, Wyatt and Augustus Parker, niece: Kenzie Starr, in-laws: Donnie and Judy Eubanks of Stilwell, sister in law: Nicole Starr and husband Travis of Stilwell, grandparents: Gloria Pettygrew of Ft. Smith, AR, Harold Pettygrew of Mountainburg, AR. He also leaves behind other relatives and a multitude of friends.

Funeral services at 1 pm on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at New Life Church, Stilwell, Oklahoma with Pastor Max Ford officiating. Interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Stilwell, Oklahoma under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
