Georgia was a retired Steel Worker from Teledyn Wah Chang Industries in Albany, Oregon. In the blessed 80 years we had her on this earth, she held many wonderful titles; precious daughter, devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, caring sister, aunt, and life long friend.
Georgia was also a homemaker, a peacemaker, a business woman, a restaurant cook, and a true lady at all times. She was a prayer soldier for her family and true believer in our Lord Jesus Christ.
She is preceded in death by her husband Vernon "Pete" English; her parents George and Myrtie Croley; one twin sister that passed away at birth; two brothers; Richard and John Croley; and two sisters, Vivian Johnson and Thelma Longshore.
Georgia leaves behind two dear sisters; Harriet Haynes of Derby, Kansas, and Sue Hill of Wichita, Kansas.
Her children, who will forever keep her memory in their heart, are one son and daughter-in-law, Woodrow and Arlene English of Waldron, Arkansas; and one daughter of the home, Patricia McVey of Albany, Oregon.
Georgia's five grandchildren have so many cherished memories of her and their many adventures together.
She had four grandsons; Shawn McVey and wife Renee of Van Buren, Arkansas, Chris McVey and wife Michelle of Crovallis, Oregon, Wesley English and wife Amanda of Greenwood, Arkansas, and Justin English of Springdale, Arkansas.
Georgia had only one granddaugher; Angela Hunsucker and husband Todd of Waldron, Arkansas.
This sweet, lovely lady also leaves behind countless nephews, nieces, cousins, and beloved friends to mourn her passing, but to also honor her life and her new found victory.
