Clare Leroy Reese
April 29, 1921 - November 10, 2009
U.S. Veteran Clare Leroy Reese, son of Ellis Nae and Artie May (Jeffries) Reese, was born on April 29, 1921 in Westville, Oklahoma and passed from this life to the next on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas at the age of 88 years, 6 months and 11 days.
Clare married his soul mate, Frances Louise Myers, on September 21, 1943 in Siloam Springs, AR. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother and friend.
Clare was an active member of the New Hope Church, where he served as a deacon for the church and was a valued member of the New Hope Cemetery Community.
Clare served our country proudly during World War II at the Normandy Beach Invasion and the Battle of the Bulge. For gallantry in action against an enemy of the United States, he was awarded the Silver Star. His contribution and bravery in the face of battle will live on as a legacy for all generations to come.
He was employed by North American Rockwell in Tulsa for 10 years, during which time he worked on the lunar lander components and Saturn V rocket components of which parts still remain on the moon.
Clare was preceded in death by his parents and his sister: Melba Willard.
He is survived by his wife: Frances L. Reese of the home in Watts, OK, son and daughter in law: Mark Alan and Pamela Sue Reese of Rogers, AR, brothers: Jack and Joe Reese of Watts, OK, sisters: Bill Willey of Siloam Springs, AR, Bettie Marshall of Diamondhead, MS, Pat Snyder of Watts, OK, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 13, 2009 in the Roberts Funeral Chapel in Westville, OK, with Bro. Ronnie Bradshaw officiating. Interment followed at New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.

Frances Louise Reese, daughter of Arthur K. and Dewey Ada (Crittenden) Myers, was born on April 12, 1924 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and departed this life on Friday, September 30, 2011 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas at the age of 87 years, 5 months and 18 days.
She married Clare Leroy Reese on September 21, 1943 and they were blessed with 66 years of marriage. Frances cherished her family and will always be remembered as a loving and caring mother, wife and friend. Her family was deeply important to her and she enjoyed the time she spent with them. Frances was a member of the New Hope Church and community. She was a blessing to all who knew her and touched many hearts.
Preceding her in death were her parents: Arthur and Dewey Myers, husband: Clare Reese on November 10, 2009, brothers: Hershel Myers, Henry Myers and Raymond Myers.
Frances is survived by a loving family that includes her son: Mark Reese and wife Pam of Rogers, AR, sister: Lorene Hess of Stilwell, OK, grandchildren: Jennifer Kamensky and husband Jason of Bella Vista, AR, Andrew Tilson and wife Melissa of Bella Vista, AR, great grandchildren: Cory Kamensky, Jeremiah Tilson, Kaitlyn Tilson and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at New Hope Cemetery with Bro. Ronnie Bradshaw officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
