Jewell Dorothy Partain, daughter of Lee Monroe Weaver and Lucy Jane (Alverson) Weaver was born January 25, 1930 in Short, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on March 17, 2015 in Springdale, Arkansas at the age of 85 years, 2 months, and 19 days.

Jewell was married to Hardy Partain and was a loving mother to their 5 children.

She enjoyed sewing, shopping and sleeping. She was a member of Lightning Ridge Church. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Lee and Lucy Weaver; her son, Gerald Partain; husband, Hardy Partain; Grandson, David Greathouse; two brothers, Virgil Weaver and Jessie Weaver; sisters Verbie Messick and Minnie Newman.

Jewell is survived by her children: daughter, Nina Greathouse and husband, Clark of Westville, OK, son, Danny Partain and wife, Barbara of Watts, OK; son, Curtis Partain and wife, Twilla of Westville; daughter Lisa Lamp and husband, Greg of Jay, OK, 13 Grandchildren; 27 Great grandchildren; 4 Great-great grandchildren; also two brothers: Bill Weaver and wife, Chiti, and Vernon Weaver and wife, Sue all of Rogers, AR. Daughter-in-law, Nita Partain, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.

Funeral services were held at 1 pm on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Roberts & Hart Chapel, Westville, OK with Pastor Jim Beavers and Pastor Brad Greathouse officiating. Interment followed at New Hope Cemetery, Westville, OK.
