Dennis Dean Morris

Dennis Dean Morris, son of Jeff and Isabelle (Blake) Morris, was born on August 20, 1934 in Chewey, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Monday, October 12, 2015 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years.

He spent his life working as a farmer/rancher to support his family. Dennis married Gertrude Beavers and they were blessed with their daughter, Denise. He was a lifelong member of the Chewey community and will be missed.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents: Jeff and Isabelle Morris, sister: Ina Phlippo, brothers: Bruce, J.B., Alvis, Jeff and Burt Morris.

A loving family survives him and includes his wife: Gertrude Morris of the home, daughter: Denise Smith and husband Jeff of Staunton, VA, grandchildren: Aaron Smith and wife Lauren, Amanda Loan and husband Dale, all of Staunton, Amber Reed and husband Scott of Tulsa, OK.

Dennis is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services were held at 10:30 am on Friday, October 16, 2015 at New Hope Cemetery, Chewey, OK with Bro. Sam Andrews officiating. Roberts & Hart Funeral Home - Westville, OK
