Donna Marie Hastings was born to Julius John “Dick” Yeager and Doris Mooring Yeager on October 7, 1944, at Elizabeth Hospital in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. She passed away April 15, 2011, at Springdale, Arkansas, at the age of 66 years, 6 months, 8 days.
Donna was married to Chester Hastings on October 23, 1963 at Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She worked at Baldor for 25 years where she made many close friends. She enjoyed facebooking with friends who she had met over the years from a range of states. Nothing put a smile on her face quicker than from hearing or seeing a picture of her boy, Payback, or looking at a new piece of jewelry.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth Hastings and wife Tonya of Chance, OK; daughter, Kathy Wright of Siloam Springs, AR; two brothers; Joe Yeager and wife, Elaine of Westville, OK, Calvin “Dean” Taylor of Hemit, California and one granddaughter, Tiffany Hastings. Several nieces, nephews and friends also survive her.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2011, at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Larry Kindle officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Westville.
