Ella Mae Gregory, daughter of Baxter and Betsy (Pettit) Sanders was born October 10, 1944 in Adair County, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on October 28, 2018 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years and 18 days.

She was a great Christian lady and devoted to her husband Merle standing beside him faithfully as he pastured for many years at Vann, Old Green, Marble City to name a few. She loved singing gospel music, yard sales, her cats and spent many hours driving around sightseeing.

Ella Mae was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and sisters; Eliza Sanders and Ollie Muskrat.

She is survived by a very loving family that includes her children; Vicky Grimmett and husband Ronnie Dugger, Vanessa Gregory, Billy Gregory and wife Michelle all of Stilwell, OK, 11 grandchildren; 4 great- grandchildren. Brother; Felix Sanders of Stilwell, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.

Funeral services were held, Friday November 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Echota Church with Bro. Jimmie Muskrat and Bro. Bill Woods officiating.

Interment followed in the Mulberry Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home
