Hoover Simmons
June 18, 1932 - December 26, 2006
Hoover Simmons was born June 18, 1932 in Stilwell, Oklahoma to John and Anawake (Scraper) Simmons.
He left us on December 26, 2006 at the age of 74.
Preceding him in death were his parents, John and Anawake Simmons, twin brothers; one nephew, Billy Stilwell; and one great nephew, Joseph Clay Stilwell.
He leaves behind one brother and sister-in-law, Levi and Betty Simmons, of Stilwell; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, and a host of friend.
Services were held Thursday, December 28, 2006 at Sequoyah Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy Muskrat officiating.
Interment followed at McLemore Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
