Harriet Ann Bays daughter of Harold and Martha Lee (Shipley) Coble was born May 25, 1932 in Van Buren, AR and departed this life to be with our Lord on March 5, 2015 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 82 years, 9 months and 8 days.

She was a very loving lady who enjoyed spending time with family and was always more concerned about others more than herself. One of her favorite things was to go out to eat. Her favorite restaurant was the Country Kitchen in Evansville, AR. She enjoyed making ceramics and was an auditor for Pacific Telephone for many years.

Harriet was a member at Honey Hill Church and attended regularly while her health permitted. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Claude Bays, brothers; George Gladden, Bill Gladden, Colby Lee Gladden and her dad; Ed Gladden.

Harriett is survived by a very loving family that includes her sisters; Lucy Wilhite and husband Orren of Stilwell, OK, Mary Collins of Westville, OK, Joan Clements of Martinez, CA, Sharon Dilley of Concord, CA, Donna Blue of Brentwood, CA, brothers; Hoy Gladden of Stilwell, OK, Jim "Rab" Gladden and wife Jane of Wagoner, OK. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.

Funeral services held at 11 am on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Roberts Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Glenn Hopkins officiating.

Interment followed at Honey Hill Cemetery, Stilwell, OK.
