Christopher Lee Galcatcher, son of Woodrow Galcatcher and Ruth Shell, was born on June 16, 1974 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and passed from this life to be with our Lord on Monday, October 17, 2011 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 37 years, 4 months and 1 day.

Christopher married Eileen Owen on March 25, 2006. They shared a love that all who knew them will never forget. Christopher loved to work with the Native American Ministry sharing the love of God to all he met. He enjoyed fishing, making people laugh, spending time with his nieces and all of the children he met throughout his life. Christopher touched many hearts and lives during his short time with us and he will never be forgotten.

Preceding him in death were his stepdad; Joe Daugherty, maternal grandparents; Toss Shell and Plizia Bishop, paternal grandfather; Josh Galcatcher and brother-in-law; Richard Bissonette.

Christopher was deeply loved by his family. He is survived by his wife; Eileen Galcatcher of the home in Stilwell, OK, son; Marshall DuMarce of Sisseton, S.D., mother; Ruth Daugherty of Stilwell, father; Woodrow Galcatcher of Stilwell, sisters; Michelle Daugherty, Angela Daugherty and Brittany Daugherty, all of Stilwell, grandmothers; Emma Galcatcher and Janana Daugherty of Stilwell, several nieces and nephews, four adopted sisters; Misty Scraper of Okmulgee, OK, Denise McIntosh of Sperry, OK, Kristy Fourkiller of Oklahoma City and Jennifer Bissonette of Sisseton, S.D. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters in Christ and a multitude of friends.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at New Life Church with Bro. Kevin Flynn officiating. Interment followed at Fourkiller Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
