Axl Jay Grimmett

Axl Jay Grimmett, 9 months, of Stilwell, went to be with the Lord on October 9, 2008.

He is the youngest son of Johnny Grimmett and Teresa Hawk. He was born December 13, 2007, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Axl had a smile that melted everyone’s heart. He was a very happy baby who loved everyone he came in contact with.
Survivors include his parents, Johnny Grimmett and Teresa Hawk, of the home; two brothers, Zach Grimmett and Ryver Hawk, of Stilwell, OK; four sisters, Autumun Grimmett, Carman Grimmett, Kynsi Grimmett and Sydnee Grimmett, of Stilwell, OK; maternal grandparents, Albert and Patsy Springwater, of Stilwell, OK and Jerry Hawk, of Westville, OK; maternal great grandparents, Roy and Inola Grimmett, of Stilwell, OK; paternal grandmother, Diane Grimmett; aunts and uncles, Amanda and Jeremy Verrette, of Kansas, OK, Heather Hawk, of Westville, OK, Patrick and Amber Springwater, of Stilwell, OK, Samantha Springwater and Robbie Hallmark, of Stilwell, OK, Cody Springwater, of Stilwell, OK, Spencer Springwater, of Stilwell, OK, Patricia and Tommy Wolfe, of Stilwell, OK, and Rosie and Eladio Vazquez, of Stilwell, OK. Axl also had two very special uncles he loved very dearly, Roy Lee Grimmett and Marco Grimmett. He had eight great aunts and eight great uncles. Axl also had numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Mann Grimmett; maternal grandparents, Thomas Hawk and Sallie Sawney, maternal grandmother, Johnann Brewer, paternal grandparents, Jesse and Laura Grimmett and Johnny and Francis Osage, maternal great grandparents, Alex and Puma Soap, maternal great uncle, Elmer Hawk and a very special cousin, Kylee Grimmett.
