Betty Lee Hummingbird
February 20, 1933 - April 30, 2009

Betty Lee Hummingbird, the daughter of Grant and Mary (Hogner) Fourkiller, was born February 20, 1933, in Stilwell, Oklahoma. She departed this life on April 30, 2009, at her home surrounded by her family at the age of 76.

Betty was married to the late Rider Hummingbird and their union was blessed with eight children. She enjoyed serving in her church and being with her family. She was a member of Fairfield Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Rider, one son, Mike Hummingbird, one daughter, Martha Hunter, three sisters, Georgia Glass, Janie Fourkiller, Ann Ketcher and one infant sister.

Those left to cherish her memory include five sons, Gary Hummingbird and wife, Shirley, Rider Joe Hummingbird, Curtis Hummingbird, Robert Hummingbird, Salaw Hummingbird and wife, Brenda, all of Stilwell; one daughter, Tami Bunch, of Stilwell; one brother, Joe Fourkiller, of Stilwell, one sister, Lucille Wilson, of Stilwell, 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services were held 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 4, 2009, at Fairfield Baptist Church with Bro. Charles Hummingbird Jr. officiating. Interment followed at Fairfield Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
