Janice Lee Fuson the daughter of Emerson Ross and Caldonia (Dooley) Guthrie was born December 31, 1940 in Independence, Missouri and departed this life on April 8, 2017 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years, 3 months and 8 days.

Janice loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was very devoted to her family and would do anything for any one of them. She enjoyed gardening, especially the flower garden, crafts, wood burning, and painting. She was a very devout Christian and loved the Lord whole heartedly. She enjoyed spending hours studying the word. She also enjoyed studying and learning about the Jewish culture. Janice touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter Amber Lynn Stephenson.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her daughters Sheryl Keeter of Park Hill and Jaimie Haye and husband Tim of Bixby; her sister Anna Mae Sellers of Stilwell; her brother Ray Guthrie and wife Carley of Stilwell; her grandchildren Laura Ann Samargis and husband Mathew and Zachary Aaron Keeter; and her great grandchildren Israel and Gabriel Samargis. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 14, 2017 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jerry Sellers officiating. Interment will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery under the care and direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
