Lillian Beatrice Catcher, daughter of George W. and Kate (Humanstriker) Ketcher, was born September 16, 1925 in Stilwell,Oklahoma and departed this life on April 1, 2017 in Stilwell at the age of 91 years, 6 months and 16 days.

Lillian attended Elm Grove School until completing the 8th grade, then afterwards went to Lawrence, Kan. where she graduated high school. She then continued her education at Sage Memorial Hospital in Garado, Ariz. Upon completion of her nursing education Lillian worked in South Dakota, Prairie Grove, Ark., Tahlequah Hospital and then retired from Stilwell Memorial Hospital at age 62 after several years of dedicated service.

She attended First Baptist Church in Stilwell. She loved visiting and helping others and this showed in her love for the children at Maryetta School where she was a foster grandparent for several years.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, George and Kate Ketcher, brothers; Wallace, Jefferson, Charlie and Warner Ketcher and sister; Susie Ketcher Ross.

She is survived by a very loving family that includes one special niece; Margie Smith and husband Vernon, other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Elm Grove Cemetery, Stilwell, with Brother Robert Fourkiller officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
